On October 11, the sectional meeting of the Kazakhstan Library Union continued with thematic seminars conducted by specialists of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union Ospanova B.K. and head of the Organizational and Analytical Work Service Nurseitova A.N. held a dialogue platform with the directors on the topic «Analysis of current problems and exchange of experience»; heads of the Computer and Network Support Service Sapargaliev I. E. and the Reference and Information Service Tokhtarova Zh.A., librarian Makaram A. L. discussed «The features of reference and information work and the problems of Web-RABIS capabilities»; Chairman of the Youth Council Kabdrashidov E. S. and the librarian of the World Literature service Alkambai A.K. proposed the project «ALTERNATIVE Library: directions and steps of youth»; Deputy Director for library Work, Executive Director of the KLU Yusupova A. H., head of the scientific and methodological service, Secretary of the Kazakhstan Library Union Makhanbetova G. A. and head of the group G.A. Auganbayeva held a seminar on updated requirements for accounting library indicators.

About 50 deputy directors of regional, city, district libraries and methodologists took part in this seminar. The «Concept of Cultural policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029», the form «Library 1» of the statistical report on the activities of cultural institutions, ways to fill in updated tables in the information and expert review «Libraries of Kazakhstan: facts and figures» were discussed, methodological recommendations and answers to topical questions were given.

At the end of the second day of work, the results of the annual field working meeting of the association of legal entities «Kazakhstan Library Union» were summed up.
