An award ceremony for librarians was held within the framework of the republican conference «Kitaphana – orkeniyet Murasy».

Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union B. Ospanova awarded the badge «Kitaphana isinin uzdigi» to Deputy director of the al-Farabi City Universal Scientific Library G.B. Alpysbayeva, deputy head of the library of the O. Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University R.S. Tukenova and the badge «Kazakstan kurmetti kitaphanashysy» to the head of the information and bibliographic department G.A. Asilbekov.

She also presented letters of thanks to specialists of the al-Farabi City Universal Scientific Library to librarian of the acquisition sector A.M. Kudaibergenova, librarian of the book fund storage department R.T. Kopesova, methodologist L.M. Kaltayeva.
