A benefit evening was held in Turkestan with the owner of the order «Kurmet», director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union Bakytzhamal Ospanova on the theme «My Love is a book, my profession is a librarian».

This meeting in a professional format began with the presentation of an exhibition installation on the theme. Deputy head of the Department of Culture and tourism Yerzhan Isatayev opened the evening with a congratulatory speech.

He spoke about the work of the hero of the evening in the field of the library and presented a special congratulatory letter from the governor of the region.

The event was attended by the head of the fund replenishment service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veteran of the library Industry K. Izambekova.

During the meeting, video messages of intellectuals and statesmen addressed to Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna were shown.

The gathered librarians asked the hero various questions and exchanged views on the field of the library.

The hero of the evening told about his career, shared his life and professional experiences. Also, «The Librarian is a universal specialist, he is a philosopher, historian, and a person of various professions. For the same reason, it must be comprehensive. It encourages every reader to read books and promotes the education of future scientists,» said the master of library science.

At this event, Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna presented the best Librarians of Turkestan with the badges «Veteran of librarianship», «Honorary Librarian of Kazakhstan» and «Excellent Librarian of librarianship» and awarded a special letter of thanks.

At the end of the evening, the director of the «Farab» library Zhanat Sadibekovna made a final speech, emphasizing the historical significance of this evening.
