On September 10, 2024, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the presentation of the bibliographic index «Saule Doszhan», dedicated to the life and work of the Kazakh poetess, writer, journalist, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, winner of international and domestic literary competitions, member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan and laureate of the international literary award «Alash», knight of the Order of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Parasat», Member of the National Kurultai under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Saulе Doszhan.

The purpose of the event is to promote modern Kazakh literature, popularize the literary and journalistic work of Saule Doszhan. S. Doszhan's work is widely represented outside the republic. Her works have been translated into English, Arabic, Hungarian, Chinese, Kyrgyz, Russian and other languages.

The works and articles of Saule Doszhan from the fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan were presented at the book and illustrative exhibition «Sauleli gumyr».

The event was opened by Bakytzhamal Kayyrbekovna Ospanova, Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union; the event was moderated by Bakyt Zhagyppar, akyn-aitysker, editor-in-chief of Kazakh Radio and Radio «Shalkar», winner of the Presidential Prize.

The bibliographer of the National Bibliography Service, Mubina Okap, conducted a review of the bibliographic index.

Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, Doctor of Philology; Sayat Kamshyger, writer, poet, translator, member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan; Zhanyl Asylbekova, General Producer of ABAI TB.

The event was attended by: writers, poets, public figures, cadets of the Military Institute of the Army named after S. Nurmagambetov, students of the State Research and Development Committee «Specialized Boarding School-College for Children gifted in Sports» of the Almaty City Sports Department; librarians and library readers.
