On May 4, 2024, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a screening of the documentary film «Alsib. Chronicles of the air route».

The event was timed to celebrate May 7 – Defender of the Fatherland Day and May 9 – Victory Day.

The film shows the exploits of the Air Force of the Soviet Union, who gave their lives during the Second World War on the Alaska-Siberia air route.
