On July 4, 2024, an intellectual quiz among library staff on the theme «Astana ‒ bas Kala» was held in the N. Dauletova Hall of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to July 6 ‒ the Day of the Capital, and organized by the Exhibitions and Cultural Programs Service.

The purpose of the event is to popularize knowledge about the capital of Kazakhstan – Astana.

Within the framework of the event, a book exhibition dedicated to Astana was organized and a literature review was conducted. An intellectual game «question and answer» was also held on the history, formation and development of the capital of Kazakhstan, as well as other capitals of the world.

The event was held in the form of a competition, where the participants showed activity and ingenuity.
