On June 6, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan was visited by a delegation of foreign and domestic scientists participating in the international conference «Historical Geography of Central Asia», held in Almaty.

The delegation included: PhD, Vice Provost for International Affairs at Harvard University, Mark Elliott Professor of the History of China and Inner Asia named after Mark Schwartz, Director of the Eurasian Research Institute of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi Suat Beilur and Professor Nurlan Kenzheakhmet, PhD of the Japanese University Ritsumeikan Kaihe Aisie Gioro and others.

Director of the National Library B. Ospanova introduced the guests to the activities of the library and reading rooms, as well as valuable manuscripts and publications from the collection of rare books and manuscripts.
