On June 18, 2024, in the Hall of World Literature, library specialists conducted a bibliographic review of new arrivals of books  «Fresh Books – zhana kitaptar» for employees of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as students.

The purpose of the review is to familiarize with new literature, periodicals, CD–ROM discs in different languages of the world, received by the World Literature Service, as well as the fund of book corners of foreign countries.

The event was attended and reviewed by the head of the service S.T.Tuyakova, librarians A.K.Alambai, E.Y.Karlova, A.M.Baismakova.

As part of the event, a quiz was held on the information given in the review, books were presented to active participants.

The 2nd and 3rd year students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University who took part in the review expressed their opinion about the benefits of such events and thanked the library specialists for interesting materials.
