Between March 24-25 the specialists from the Almaty Regional Universal Library after S. Seifullin are trained at the Cataloguer School, which operates on the basis of National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the training, the specialists of the Information Resources Service conducted theoretical and practical classes on working with the WEB-RABIS program.

The methodological recommendations were given on the scientific processing and indexing of documents, compiling bibliographic indexes in the Cataloguer module.

The specialists of the National Bibliography Service introduced the process of compiling advisory and retrospective bibliographic indexes, as well as searching for information in the reference book " Alphabetical Subject Index and classification".
