On February 28 the head of the group of the Service «Kazakstan kitaptary» of National library of the RK K.A. Bakhina participated in the International scientific-practical online conference by the theme «Ulttyk zhane otbasylyk dastyurlerdy saktau men damytudagy balalar kitapkhanasynyn aleumettyk-madeni missiyasy», organized by the Karagandinskaya regional children’s library after Abai and the Western-Kazakhstani regional children’s and youth library after Kh. Esenzhanov.

The organizers – the Department of culture, archives and documentation of the Karaganda region, the Karagandinskaya regional children’s library after Abai         The purpose of the online conference is the collection and translation of the experience of preservation of the traditions of family reading, the popularization of reading of children and adolescents in the digital society.

The online conference was opened by the head of the Department of culture, archives and documentation of the Karagandinskaya region Zhumakenov Erkebullan Kairollayevich and the head of the Republican children-youth’s library after K. Bayalinov Sultangaziyeva Roza Kaliyevna (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan). There at the online conference the head of the group of National library K.A. Bakhina made the report by the theme  «Otbasylyk oku – tarbiye kozi».

There in the conference participated deputy director for scientific-methodological work of National library of Ukraine for children – Polikarpova Lyudmila Petrovna (Kiev, Ukraine), editor of the republican children’s newspaper «Drushnye rebyata» – Gumirova Olga Nikolayevna (Almaty, Kazakhstan), the founder of the electronic magazine «Balalarga oku» and chief editor, organizer of the online conferences for children and adolescents – Alexeyeva Olga Sergeyevna (Moscow, Russia) and other participants.     

The themes discussed: the role of the libraries in the formation of family reading, in the preservation and development of national and family traditions; the topical issues of children’s and adolescents’ reading; the innovational library projects in the creation and spreading of informational resources for the formation of good educability of children and adolescents; the social partnership of libraries servicing children and youth and other themes.     

The online conference was closed by the head of the Karagandinskaya regional children’s library after Abai Uatayeva Bayan Kuanyshevna.
