In 1636-39n he studied in Paris in the Klermon college, the degree he received in Orlean. In 1941 he was accepted into the collegium of advocates but decided to become and actor. At the college he loved the theatre after he became acquainted with Sirano de Berzherak and with the comedy actors Zhozef and Madlen Bezhar. The founded “The magnificent theatre”, which didn’t last even two years. The failure was inevitable because there in the repertoire were tragedies. But the public preferred the Italian comedies of masks (comedy del arte), and the time was complicated for art.

The best comedies of Moliere are “Tartyuf”, “Don Juan”, “The misanthrope” are directed against hypocrisy and false virtue, against the spiritual emptiness of the aristocracy. Researching the different layers of life, Moliere chose only those traits which were necessary for the depiction of certain types, not trying specially to depict the characters. There in the comedies of the dramaturgist the character of man was disclosed not in the complicated variety but in the expressed dominant trait, that’s why the satirical colours of Moliere are often thickened. The comedies are characterized by the cheerful, optimistic tone with the satirical, ironic, sarcastic shades.

The dramaturgy of Moliere pushed the development not only of the French comediography, but to the national realistic dramaturgy in England, Italy and Germany.

There among the main works (more than thirty plays) the comedy “The funny simpering girls” was staged in Parisin November, 1659.
