There in the Hall of Chinese culture and literature is organized the book exhibition “Chinese children’s literature” within the framework of “The children’s year in Kazakhstan”

The Chinese children’s literature is divided into the ancient and modern children’s literature. Ancient children’s literature consists of the myths and legends (the Chinese fairy-tales, edifying stories, historical tales about the well-known Chinese people, about the places,

the military tales about the chieftains). The Chinese classical literary works have especial upbringing character as the code of rules of cognition and wisdom.

There at the exhibition is presented the serial book “One story in tales in the course of 365 days”, which narrates about the ancient Chinese historical events. The book interestingly discloses the history of China in all its variety.

The main part of children’s literature is represented by the works of the founder of modern Chinese children’s literature E. Shengtao. There at the exhibition is presented the book “The selected collections of E. Shengtao”, which consists of three parts: fairy-tales, prose, stories in which there is perfectly depicted the life of society, disclosed the link between the dreams and real life. There is depicted in the book how the Chinese parents bring up children in everyday life.

The next series of books of the Chinese writer Lu Zhzhigan under the pseudonym of Bei Mao (translated as “The northern Tomcat”) . these are the illustrated stories of the author, which thrill the young readers. There in each book are collected the stories for children of different ages. Once there at the lesson of mathematics the woman-teacher brought a little child to the class and presented him as a new classmate. The children who were ten years of age each, were surprised at the boy of 6 years of age. In reality the boy was so clever that he was promoted at once by 3 classes higher. There at the lesson he surprised many of them by telling them about the five different ways of the solution of on complicated task. But the classmates didn’t take him seriously and that’s why they invited him to the competition so that he should quickly and rightly answer the questions. There for the puzzle: “No matter how quickly you walk, it always comes back home before you. What is it?” the answer of the gifted boy was: “The key”. In the other instant: “For which thing one and the same day becomes the day of issue and the term of age?” the little witted boy at once said: “The newspaper”. After that he very interestingly answers

At the end of 2021 the Shanghai Association of writers together with the children’s publishing house organized the Competition among children for advancement children’s books and published the names of the victors of “The prize of Tsing Wengtzung for innovations

in the sphere of children’s literature”.  The best award was given to the 12-year old pupil of the beginner school Gu Linglang for the work “What is the love letter?”.  There at the book exhibition are presented the books of the Chinese authors and the translations of the Kazakhstani writers in the Chinese language from the fond of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

There are also presented the patriotic children’s verses, the humoristic stories grouped and translated from Chinese into English; the works, stories about the origins of many proverbs.

The instruments for teaching literacy for adolescents who want to study the Chinese language, the Chinese literature, different study manuals, the discs for listening, the unique “Chinese children’s encyclopaedia” and other materials for children and adolescents.
