On November 18 There at the National library of the RK continued the session of the Kazakhstani Library Union.

There in the work of the session participated vice-minister of culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.M. Daueshov.

The members of the Council of the KLU, the heads of the Departments of culture of the cities and regions, the chairman and the heads of the regional affiliates of the Kazakhstani branch professional union of the workers of culture, sport, tourism raised the topical issues pertaining to the library sphere: the labour relations, legislation, social protection of the workers, the raising of the salary.

The chairperson of the Kazakhstani branch professional union of the workers of culture, sport, tourism and information Imankulova S.K. gave the word to the vice-minister.

In his speech N.M. Daueshov congratulated all the participants with the 30-th anniversary of Independence and denoted the today’s meeting as the work one. He also noted that at   the present time everywhere there are hotly discussed the issues connected with the ideology, culture and education. From 2022 there will take place the stage-by-stage augmentation of financing in the sphere of culture. There in the libraries is implemented the project “The reading nation” designed at the active involvement of the youth into reading. He also noted that the initiatives of the library community must develop within the framework of the Law “About culture”.
