АДThere in the reading hall of the Arts department is organized the book exhibition “Zhana gasyr syuretshisy – Agymsaly Dyuzelkhanov”, dedicated to the 70-th anniversary of the Kazakhstani artist, honored figure of arts of Kazakhstan Agymsaly Dyuzelkhanov.

Agymsaly Dyuizelkhanov was born on August 19, 1951 in Kazaly city of the Kyzylordinskaya region. In 1976 he finished the Alma-Atinskiy artistic school, in 1982 – the Moscow artistic institute after V.I. Surikov. He works by the genres of applied graphics, posters, book designs, painting, portraits.

He made the pictures and the design for more than 200 books by the historical, folklore thematic and also for children. He is the author of the series of picturesque works “Altyn sarbaz”, “Turkestan”, “Ordabasy”, “Oguz khan”, “Kerogly” and others, and also of the portraits of Abylai khan, Abulkhayir khan, Kazybek bi, Tole bi, Korkyt and others.

The works of the painter are exposed in the artistic museums of Kazakhstan and foreign countries.

A.Dyuzelkhanov is the honored figure of arts of Kazakhstan (1996), the winner of the State prize (2003). Professor of the Kazakh National academy of arts after T. Zhurgenov,

the Excellent worker of education of the RK.

The purpose of the book exhibition is the acquaintance with the creative activity of the painter and the popularization of his works.

There at the exhibition are presented the materials about the life and creative activity of the artist from the fond of National library of the RK, among which one can note the album of the author “Korkemsyuret, stanoktyk grafika, kitap bezendiru, posterler syuretter, nobailar, eskizder”, “Tamshy” of Zh.Symakov, “Burshak” of M. Dzhalilov, “Men aurganda oinamaimyn” of D. Shwartz, “Alyp” of R. Shotbayev and other books published in different years and all dedicated to the creative activity of A.Dyuzelkhanov.
