On February 11 at 15:00 hours there in the hall after N. Dauletova of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the creative meeting dedicated to the creative meeting dedicated to the 70-th anniversary of the prominent writer, prosaic, publisher, public figure, winner of the State prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Askarov and the presentation of the bibliographical index “Alibek Askarov”.

The activity was opened by director of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kayirbekovna, who congratulated Alibek Asylbayevich with the 70-th birthday and presented him with the memorable medal dedicated to the 110-th birthday of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The head of the National bibliographical service of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abilova Maira Kundildayevna presented the bibliographical index dedicated to the life and creative activity of Alibek Askarov. The well-known writers K.Segizbayev, B.Nurzhekeuly, Kurmangaliyev carried out the solemn ceremony of cutting the ribbon.

There at the meeting the moderator was Bakhyt Bedelkhanuly, the poet, the winner of the International literary prize “Alash”, deputy chairman of the Writers’ union of Kazakhstan.

There before the participants was presented in the new binding the book of A. Askarov published again named “Oh, you high Altai, how can I cope your height…”.  There to the solemn ceremony of cutting the ribbon were invited S. Medeubekuly, T. Mamashev, R. Kul-Mukhammed. Ospanova B.K. awarded with the jubilee medal dedicated to the 110-th jubilee of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, for the contribution in the replenishment of the book fond of the National library and the wide-spreading of books and also the publication and advancement of books the well-know publisher, candidate of science (philosophy), president of “Atamura” corporation Rakhimgali Kul-Mukhammed.

There at the honoring of the jubilee person the poet Talant Argyngali performed the song “Arnau”, and after that the worker of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tanzharyk Ormanbekov performed the terme.

There in the activity participated the writer, winner of the prize of M. Auezov K. Segizbayev, the poet, deputy chairman of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan B. Zhakyp, the state and public figure T.Mamashev; the poet, candidate of science (philology) S. Medeubekuly; the poet, translator K.Kurmangaliyev; the writer, winner of the State prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Nurzhekeuly; the poet, member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan A.Kayirbekov; the writer A. Nurdaulet and others.

There at the completion of the jubilee activity spoke the writer Alibek Asylbayevich Askarov, summing up the tasks and goals standing before the creative intelligentsia on the eve of the 30-th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

There to the guests and participants of the activity was presented the book exhibition named “The mysterious writer of Altai”, dedicated to the life and creative activity of A. Askarov, organized by National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
