On January 29 hours there in the Hall of world literature took place the ceremony of donation of literature for the Book corner of India at the National library of the RK from the Embassy of India in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

There in the activity participated the Ambassador of India in the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Prabkhat Kumar, the consul of the Representative office of the Embassy of India in Almaty city Mr. Amit Kumar Mishra. The moderator of the given activity was deputy director of National library of the RK A.Kh.Yussupova.

There with the word of greeting spoke director of National library of the RK B.K.Ospanova.

There was donated to the National library the literature in history and culture of India, fiction, literature in different spheres of knowledge and science in the Hindi and English languages in the amount of 326 copies.

In his speech the Ambassador of India in the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Prabkhat Kumar wished the National library of the RK and all the present people welfare, new successes and achievements.

There at the solemn ceremony were present the readers and workers of National library of the RK. The permanent reader Nursultan Niyazov expressed the wishes and he thanked the Embassy of India in Kazakhstan and the National library of the RK for the new literature and for the professional library work.

All the guests were invited to review the new literature and they had an opportunity to become acquainted with the renovated Corner which in 2020 was modernized and equipped with new modern furniture and computer equipment with the assistance and the money given by the Embassy of India in Kazakhstan.
