On September 17 within the framework of the Cataloguer school, operating on the basis of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held a practical online conference "Indexation and systematization of national resources according to the universal decimal classification (UDC)" with specialists from the Pavlodar Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Toraigyrov.

 D. Avelbekova, the head of the group of the Information Resources Service, delivered a lecture “Library classification system in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Basic rules for indexing by UDC ”.The issues of arranging the library fond according to the international universal decimal classification, bibliographic descriptions of articles and other issues of processing national literature were also considered.

The online conference was attended by library specialists of Pavlodar RUSL named after S. Toraigyrov, the Centralized Library System of Pavlodar city and regional libraries.

Library specialists of Pavlodar region expressed the desire to undergo training and improve their qualifications at the Cataloguer school, operating on the basis of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
