On January 13, 2020 there in the hall after N.Dauletova of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Ministry of culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition dedicated to the studying of the life and creative activity of the poet Iliyas Zhansugurov, among the journalists and scientists-literary critics timed for the 125-th birthday of the poet.

In the course of the activity the honored figure of the RK, winner of the prize “Altyn Zhuldyz”, journalist Nurtleu Imangaliuly thanked the Akimat of Almaty city and the Almaty region and also the collective of National library of the RK for the support and assistance in the carrying out of the competition, also he gave the national cloak to Nagashybai Alpysov from Kostanai city – the fan and propagator of the creative activity of Iliyas Zhansugurov.

There at the ceremony of awarding also were present: the public figure, cultural-study expert Murat Auezov, the primogenitor of Iliyas Zhansugurov Sayat Zhansugurov, deputy chairman of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Zhakyp, head of the Centre “Iliyastanu”, doctor of science (philosophy), professor Muratbek Imangaziyev, honored figure of the RK, poet Galym Zhailybai, councilor of deputy akim of Almaty city Aliyev Daniyar, head of department of the Department of culture, archives and documentation of the Almaty region Esim Bazarkhanov, chairman of the public foundation after I.Zhansugurov Sabit Korganbayev, honored figure of the RK, actor Bolat Abdilmanov and other representatives of intelligentsia.

The gathered people listened to the verses dedicated to Iliyas Zhansugurov, also there were performed the traditional Kazakh songs performed by Nurzhan Zhanpeyisov and Erkin Shukimanov.
