Today National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan was visited by the State secretary of the department of national history and literary heritage of the Republic of Pakistan Mr. Nadim Shafik Malik, the consul on the affairs of trade and investments Mr. Mukhammed Faruk and chairman of the Department of National bank of Pakistan in Almaty city Mukhammed Rafik. In the course of the meeting there were discussed the issues of the further work of the Book corner of Pakistan. Also there for the guests was carried out an excursion around the Halls of the library.

On February 21, 2020 there at the National library of the RK of the Ministry of culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the second stage of the competition of expressive reading named “Zhazdym yulgi zhastarga bermek yushin” dedicated to the 175-th birthday of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev.
