From April 22 to 23, the scientific secretary of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dyusibayeva Darikha Turebaevna and Librarian of the world literature service Ashirova Farida Gaidarovna took part in the International Scientific and practical conference «Rumyantsev readings» at the Russian State Library (Moscow, Russia).
The plenary session of the conference was opened by the general director of the Russian state library V. V. Duda, who stressed the importance of preserving the historical memory of peoples and said that, although it seems that everything is slow in libraries, in fact, many new things are being introduced. At the end of the speech: «A high career is a high cliff. In addition, the head of the state noted that the Kazakh language is the language of the Kazakh people, and the Kazakh language is the language of the Kazakh people.
At the extraordinary session of CIS libraries dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, issues of preserving common historical memory, opening and popularizing the richest archival materials of the war years in the funds of CIS libraries were discussed. Special attention was paid to library projects and digital resources.
The conference participants were interested in the reports of D. T. Dyusibayeva «Correspondence of the State Public Library of the Kazakh SSR named after A. S. Pushkin with readers and front-line employees during the Great Patriotic War» and F. G. Ashirova «Exhibition activities of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan during the Great Patriotic War and work with teams evacuated to Almaty».
Specialists of libraries, archives, museums, universities, research institutes, publishing houses, representatives of state structures and public organizations took part in the Rumyantsev readings.
