On December 12, 2024, in the hall named after N.Dauletova of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an international scientific and theoretical conference «Altyn Orda orkenieti: rukhani mura zhane dastur zhalgastygy» was held, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the Ulus of Jochi and the year «Islam zhane dastur kundylygy». The organizers of the conference are the Islamic Research Institute and the M. O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art.
The moderator of the conference is the Director of the Islamic Research Institute
Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, Ph.D., Associate Professor Torali Kydyr.
The event was opened by Chairman of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Kazakhstan, Supreme Mufti Nauryzbai kazhi Taganuly.
The conference discussed the issues of the civilization of the Golden Horde, the spiritual heritage of the Jochi Ulus, the continuity of religion and traditions, spiritual values in modern society, etc.
The conference was attended by: People's Writer of Kazakhstan Smagul Yelubai; Director General of the M. O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, Ph.D., academician Kenzhehan Matyzhanov; Professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, D.I.N., Academician Bereket Karipbayev; Director of the Eurasian Research Institute, PhD, Associate Professor Suat Beilur; Advisor to the Rector of the A. Navoi Uzbek State University of Language and Literature, Doctor of Philology, Nodirbek Zhurakuziev; Director General of the A. Baitursynula Institute of Linguistics, Ph.D. Anar Fazilzhanova; Deputy Director General of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Sh. Ualikhanov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, orientalist Zhomart Zhenis and other scientists, religious scholars and historians-researchers of the history of the Golden Horde.
The conference was attended by well-known Turkologists, Islamic scholars, historians and literary critics from near and far abroad, as well as doctoral students and undergraduates from universities in Kazakhstan.
