On May 22, 2024, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan was visited by a delegation from the Chuvash Republic (Russia) consisting of Secretary of the Union of Writers of the Chuvash Republic Larisa Dmitrieva, Chairman of the Chuvash Cultural Center in Kazakhstan Nikita Danilovich Khramov, as well as Chuvash poets and writers.

The guests got acquainted with the activities of the library and visited the reading rooms.

Also, the Secretary of the Union of Writers of Chuvashia, L.S. Dmitreva, presented, on behalf of the Chairman of the Union of Writers of the Chuvash Republic, Mikhail Nikolaevich Yukhma, the medal «100th anniversary of the Union of Writers of the Chuvash Republic» to the statesman and public figure, cultural critic Murat Auezov, his daughter Zifa Auezova.
