On May 20, young specialists of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Berdygalieva Guldana Nurbolkyzy and Kozhamberdi Zerde Fazylbekkyzy participated in the grand opening of the All-Russian Library Congress «LIBRARY IN A MULTIPOLAR WORLD» - the XVIII Annual Conference of the Russian Library Association.

During the event, organizers and delegates from different countries spoke, who discussed topical issues and tasks of the library community. The participants of the «New Generation» program also visited the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan, where they were given a tour of the reading rooms and departments, and also familiarized with the library's rich fund.

In the evening, a reception was held on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan (Rais) on the occasion of the Grand Opening of the All-Russian Library Congress.
