The exhibition «Aimauytov ayshyktary», dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of the writer, poet, translator, publicist Zhusipbek Aimauytov, was organized in the hall of periodicals.

Zhusipbek Aimauytov is a prominent Kazakh writer, poet, founder of drama and novel, translator, literary critic, publicist. He was born in 1889 in Bayanaul district of Pavlodar region. He lived in a poor family, but his great-grandfathers Dandibai and Kuan were respected and educated people from a noble family. Since childhood, he studied Arabic literacy, blacksmithing and wood carving.He studied in Russian school in Bayanaul, state agricultural school, two-grade Russian-Kazakh school in Kereku (Pavlodar), graduated from the teacher's seminary in Semipalatinsk. While studying at the seminary, Zhusipbek Aimauytov simultaneously worked as a coiner,carpenter, shoemaker  and made dombras. As a seminarian, he, along with Akhmet Baitursynov, Mirzhakip Dulatov and other figures of the Kazakh intelligentsia, actively participates in the work of the national party «Alash Orda».

Zhusipbek Aimauytov is one of the founders of Kazakh pedagogy and psychology. He is the author of more than ten books, hundreds of scientific publications, textbooks and textbooks on pedagogy, psychology, ethics. Some of them are: «Tarbiege zhetekshi» (Orenburg, 1926), «Didactics», «Psychology» (Tashkent, 1927), «Sabaktyn complex zhuyesinin adisteri» (Kyzylorda, 1929), «Zhan zhuyesi zhane oner tandau» (Moscow, 1929), etc.

The first articles by Zhusipbek Aimauytov were published in 1913 in the newspaper «Kazakh». In 1918, together with M.O.Auezov, he published the magazine «Abai».

In 1929, Zhusipbek Aimauytov was repressed and shot in 1931.

The exhibition from the fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan presents materials about the life and creative activity of Zhusipbek Aimauytov, works written in different years, articles by public figures and memoirs of poets, writers about him, published on the pages of periodicals.
