  1. On February 10 there in the hall after N. Dauletova of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Ministry of culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the Republic scientific-practical online-conference “Independence and Islam”, organized by the Spiritual department of the Moslems of Kazakhstan dedicated to the 30-th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The republican scientific-practical conference was opened by the moderator – head of the department of propagation Mansurov Batyrzhan Berdenovich who addressed the word of greeting to the director of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kayirbekovna. In her turn, the director of the library told the audience about the cooperation between the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Spiritual department of the Moslems of Kazakhstan and expressed the good wishes.

There at the online conference Chairman of the SDMK, the Supreme mufti Nauryzbai kazhy Taganuly made the report by the theme “Independence is the unshakeable basis, given by the Almighty”, in which he raised the issues of renovation of spirituality and upbringing of the youth, the formation of the system of Islamic education within the framework of the thematics of the conference “Independence and Islam” .

President of the National academy of sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan academician M.Zh. Zhurinov chairman of the Council of veterans of Almaty city, the state figure A.K. Bizhanov, the professor and writer S.A. Elubai, the historian-scientist M.K. Koigeldiyev participated in the conference “Independence and Islam”, at which there were discussed the issues of independence and religious values standing before the Kazakhstani society.

There within the framework of the activity for the participants of the conference was presented the exhibition of the written archives “The old books” which reflect the historical spirituality of the Kazakh people, organized by National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
